A More Powerful and User-friendly IGES/ADINA-M Translator

The IGES/ADINA-M translator allows the import of solid geometric parts for modeling in ADINA. In version 8.3, we have implemented major improvements to the translator.

• Many previous input parameters are now automatically handled by the program. User input is therefore very much simplified.
  
  
• Scaling and gap tolerances are now handled more effectively.
  
  
• A significant number of parts which failed to translate previously can now be successfully translated.

The following figure shows examples of models converted from CATIA and PRO/E IGES files, with meshes generated in ADINA.
